Beyonce is pregnant with her first child with husband Jay-Z, and everyone has been buzzing about her big baby news since she announced that she was expecting at the MTV Video Music Awards last weekend.
Beyonce wasn’t shy about showing off her baby bump on the red carpet, but now it looks as though she may be trying to cover it up. She was spotted with Jay-Z in Venice, Italy, wearing a very flowy maxi-dress, which completely concealed her belly. Why would Beyonce want to hide her baby bump now that everyone knows she is pregnant?
If I had to guess, I’d say that Beyonce is trying to make the most out of her pre-pregnancy wardrobe before she has to wear nothing but maternity clothes. Items like maxi dresses are super comfortable, and can even be worn into the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
Before too long, Beyonce’s bump will be impossible to miss, but for now, we’d never know she was pregnant if she hadn’t made it huge news!

The rumor mill is abuzz this week. After an interview that Beyonce Knowles did on an Australian TV, questions arouse on whether Beyonce really was pregnant or not. Her belly bump seemed to mysteriously deflate while she was sitting down, a very odd image for sure.
But if she isn’t pregnant and is actually using a surrogate, why put up the charade that she is carrying a child right now? Is it a misguided vision to have her public persona go through a pregnancy? Or maybe it was just an off fitting dress or some kind of odd lighting or camera angle?

Of course, rumors started flying that Beyonce and Jay-Z had a surrogate, but Beyonce would keep up the facade of a pregnancy.

Could all this internet hub bub be much ado about nothing? After video surfaced of what looked like a deflating baby bump, there was some accusations that Beyonce could actually not have a bun in the oven, that she is actually wearing a prosthetic. The assumption is that she may actually have hired a surrogate and that she is pretending to be pregnant. But why would one of the biggest stars on the planet go through all that trouble? And what really happened during the now infamous belly deflating video…
Odds are that no one – no matter how careful they are with their image – would go through such a big charade to pretend they were knocked up. So – for now – let’s assume that Beyonce is in fact pregnant. So why did her belly look so odd. One thing that could be to blame in the lighting. The lighting was standard studio lighting with key lights being high above, this could cast shadows in odd ways when not being on the mark. Also a culprit? Her dress. The material could have been the folds we see, not her belly. Or her tights or some sort of Spanx could have folded over in an odd way.
It seems that Beyonce will have to pull a Demi Moore Vanity Fair type cover, showing off her naked belly, to disprove all the doubters.
